A good spot for flat water winging as an alternative to Waitangi when the wind is too strong 

2 hours either side of high tide otherwise there is a bit of a walk out. 

Park up on the Paihia side where I have dropped the pin as there is a deeper channel on this side.

Keep to the seaward side of the green channel marker pole that you can see on the right with your back to the beach.

Watch your depth when coming back in.
