A tropical island experience in one of the windier spots in Fiji, perfect for intermediates for building skills and enjoy warm trade winds.

Safari Lodge is on the windward side of the island, with easy access to launch. Reefs are stunning, but need consideration 2 hrs after high water. Optimal booking for a stay here would be high water around midday – however it’s not a show-stopper. Alternative beginner options available if strong winds on the windward shore, however currently no tuition available.

All transfers can be arranged from Nadi  Airport or Suva. Then a boat transfer over to the island. Communal eating and social area to share stories with other watersports users. (Other accomodation options on other side of the islands)

Downwinders can be arranged. No hire gear available, be completely self sufficient – including repair kit if required.

Fun wind waves to play on around reefs but no significant swell as it is on the inner reef.

If you luck out with non windy days there are kayaks, SUPs and snorkel gear to explore to pristine turquoise waters & plus Sandy beaches, hammocks and daily stunning sunsets.

Its worth noting the island was hit by a Cat 5 Cyclone in recent years and the impact of Covid restrictions means being patient with ´Fiji-time’ and availability of resources will let you enjoy the pace and ambience
