Bright blue waters with the Southern Alps as your backdrop

*How to get there:* Along State Highway 8 – turn onto Lilybank Road to the east of the town & take a sharp left turn down to the lakeside about 800m after turn-off.

When the thermals set in from the NW it’ll be phenomenally windy so little gear needed for the 30knts + but it’s also possible to ride with any breeze coming from the bottom of the lake (south)

Tekapo Hot Pools are well worth a visit after the cold lake & a boat ramp for tow-foil options plus plenty of accommodation can be found adjacent to these pools.
